Modern red and white paint, in multiple layers have adorned this interesting pop-eyed mask. Very old insect damage to the interior of the mask and the mask's feel give all indications of age and use. The damage seen on the interior is old and stable. Makes an unusual presentation, and is much different from other African cultural styles. "
